Business models, tools, and exercises
There are many tasks that you can undertake to help you explore your business and the influencing factors, helping you to form and maintain a strategy which complements your business’ assets and competencies, skills and environment.
Sayers Solutions recommends using the following tools as a basic foundation for reviewing your organisation;
- the 4 P’s,
- SWOT,
- PEST,
- stakeholder analysis,
- ideal customer analysis,
- competitor analysis.
All of these are described in the next section of our workbook – Printables for each of these tools are also provided in the appendix.
However, these are not just one-off exercises used at the beginning of the strategy building exercise.
They should be used frequently, if not constantly, to enable you to review, monitor and adjust, in order to achieve the goals and vision of the organisation.
